Merry Christmas!

Once again Christmas comes and goes but this year was one to remember. I did have to work a little through the holiday but we had a great Christmas! I am so thankful for our friends and family. We are so truley blessed. Thank you all for the wonderful gifts and the good times we've had. Merry Christmas!

Patience my child.....

Just a few pics of one of Kylie's many tantrums. Gradually we are adding more and more of them to our schedule each day. Sometimes they make me laugh, sometimes they make me pull my hair out and sometimes they make me cry too. It can be as little as the cat jumping out of the window seal that sets her off. WOW is it stressful!

So I question.....Is this normal? Am I doing something wrong? What is going on all of a sudden?

It usually starts with the words "No" and "Don't" of course. " No you can't eat mud cakes." or " Don't stick your finger in the light socket."

Really, these words are in her best interest in my opinion. I really think she has such a tender heart or she already knows how to get her way!

This is Marley A.K.A Bobby or Santa.
I picked him up at the Humane Society a couple of years ago. I really wanted a long haired cat but they didn't have any. When he was small he had the shortest hair but he was still cute so I brought him home anyway. As he grew in size, his hair magically grew too. I absolutely love him but my vacuum doesn't!


I'm one of those weird moms that takes pictures while you sleep :)

Big News

Okay so I can finally open my big mouth.
My bestest friend will soon be my sister. Cody purposed to Whitney last weekend. Cody had to tell me months ago and even show me the ring (which is unbelievable). It was so hard to keep that secret..... especially from Whitney.
I will keep you all posted on the details.

This is funny!!

I know these pics aren't the best but the story behind them is!

My husband didn't think this was very funny but I had to laugh.
So I lost track of how many trips Brett took looking for his trophy deer. So many long cold nights at "hunting camp" and so many bright and early mornings that turned up nothing! But the worst part of it is that the day after his season closed this monster came down into our back yard. And of course Brett wasn't home to witness this so I had to get pictures to rub it in a little.
The pictures don't do it justice. He really was big.

Tough times...

So I know it has been a while since my last post. I am one of the worlds worst procrastinators! But I do have somewhat of an excuse. You see I lost my USB cable to my camera. But through this tragedy I have managed to keep going and capture some great pics to share. No worries....I have a cable on the way. Priority mail!!! Won't be long and I will be a bloggin fool.

Life has been a little crazy lately. I am so excited to share some great news but I have to keep my mouth shut until further notice. It's killing me! ( And no I am not pregnant!)

When daddy's away the girls shall play.

Seems like I haven't seen my hubby for quite sometime. Our mountain man is "on the hoof" and MIA. Must be the camo. So Kylie and I have had some quality time to hang out and have fun. Today we visited Nana and had a photo shoot! We are so lucky to have great family. Love you Mom...thanks for all you do!

My Little Cupcake

Today we made some delicious chocolate cupcakes. I had no intention of Kylie eating one but Brett had other plans. Sometimes you have to go with the flow. Ky absolutley loved it. She demolished it within minutes! I guess she had an early first birthday. It was so cute but such a mess! She definetly takes after me when it comes to chocolate passion. Nothing better.....
