mmmm....Tea!

I have never been big on tea until now. I love this stuff! The acai berry tea is amazing.

I am so lucky to have such a wonderful sister who accepts me for me. I have amazing family that are always there when I need them most.

Anxiety??? Mucho!!

This little guy was the biggest pain in my rear! Of course he was cute. I adored him so much but at the same time picking up garbage daily and trying desperatly to keep him out of our Vorhees can got old, really quick! Problem wasn't this bear but was another one that came nightly. That bear didn't have a happy ending. To make a long story short: fish and game gave us one choice and one night when this bear decided the outside garbage wasn't enough and tried coming in our bedroom window, we had no choice but to shoot it.

I still have nightmares about that!

Well wouldn't you know it...the one time my husband packs up and leaves for a couple days and I am home all alone with my little girl, a bear comes down to visit. What the **** do you do when that happens??

Well I will tell you what I did. I didn't get any sleep that night. Any little noise had me thinking he was outside my window or at the front door. All I had to protect us was a can of bear mase and Brett's 9mm (that I don't know how to shoot!) See one thing I have learned about these creatures, is that they are very intelligent, very sneaky, and surprisingly quiet too. You wouldn't believe what they are capable of. Luckily all he did was sit in my driveway for hours. He just posted up behind my car, kinda wierd. The one good thing is he didn't get in my garbage, but that's only a matter of time. And when thay do they'll be back every day.
Anyway, so after going through that Wednesday night me and Kylie packed a bag and stayed at a motel until Brett got home.

Tonight is our first night back at home. I feel safer at home now that Brett is back, but he's getting ready to leave again for a couple more days. :(

Not the nose crinkle!!

I can't believe I'm admitting to this.

She inherited this from me.
She has started to wrinkle her nose.........all the time! I do this too. I have had this pointed out to me now more then ever.

Going back through old pictures sure lets me know it's definitely true.

I have to find a way to reverse this!!

I am practicing my swimming skills for Kylie's baby blow up pool! Being in the water sure makes me want summer here now!
I can't help but look forward to some beautiful days basking in the hot summer sun working on a tan. The sunless tanner only lasts so long.

Bernie

This is Bernie our new addition. Not really ours but we consider him family now. He belongs to one of our neighbors. Not sure which one. So to anyone who reads this and recognizes him, please know that we love him and take good care of him while he's away.

Anyway Bernie comes and plays every day now. Tank even shares his dog food with him.

I just realized that all the stray animals we come by we name them Bernie. Wonder why that is? It works though

I went to post this last night but didn't for some reason. But I have an update on this this already.

This little sweet thing is actually a girl named Daffodil. Should have known the gender by her collar but didn't pay attention obviously.

Well it is becoming routine. She is scratching at our door by breakfast and napping the rest of the day in our house! She is too sweet to boot out the door. Also, she recognizes my car. As I was driving home I looked in my rear view mirror and there she was running as fast as those little legs would allow behind me.

She is the sweetest dang thing. I want to adopt her. My neighbor still has no clue. I really feel like they must not take good care of her or hardly care where she is.

Oh well I sure enjoy her though.

Surprise!!

Tonight at work my hubby surprised me with some much needed love! I have had a horrible day. One where I should have been locked away from the world!! This is something I would have never expected.

At Last!!!

We broke the 12th tooth through this last weekend!! It is time to celebrate!! Those four back molars have been a nightmare for the last 2 months. We have struggled so hard and had so many long nights. I am so excited we made it through. I am so proud of her big white smile!
This was one of our many long nights. She was so miserable. She finally fell asleep sitting up.

Kylie got her new car seat!! We love it. It is so much better!! It is so much fun having her face forward. She is a big girl now. She is too cool for school these days.

Little Kitty

My cat is a little crazy. He loves boxes and bags. He crawled in to this bag somehow and would not get out. Smaller the bag the better. Anyway I have to share this other story. Last night I got home late from work and found my cat waiting by the door which is unusual. During the winter he is a homebody and won't go outside for anything. I thought I smelled something funny but was in to big of a hurry. I got inside and got another big whiff..... instantly I'm yelling at my poor dog to get out of the house. I can't handle SKUNK smell!!! Well as he went out the smell didn't. Come to find out my crazy cat had been out playing with the skunk and got sprayed. Weird! Needless to say I apologized to Tank and gave him a treat to make up.

This has been one of the things we've been dealing with. Brett fell down some stairs last week and hurt his ankle. After a Sunday in the ER we learned it's a severe sprain or possibly a hair line fracture. Which ever one it is the poor guy has been hurting and laying on my couch for days. I have two little babies at home which has been pretty fun most of the time.

Update

It has been a while since our last post. We have been extremely busy lately. We've been doing fun things and dealing with not so fun things.

These pics are from our recent play date with Brandy and Jaxon. Kylie has developed a little attitude and it scares me when we get around other kids. Brett has taught her a new favorite saying.... "it's mine" and I swear that's all she was saying to Jaxon when they were playing with toys. After much slapping, pushing and yelling we had to call it a night. But we can't wait to do it again!!
