Couple days before having Kylie. Still to this day I can't get enough pumpkin chocolate chip cookies!
This was me in labor! Really was..I had been helping Brett stain boards on his spec house and decided to call it a day and go visit my mom. The intense labor didn't really start for another couple hours. It doesn't always happen like on the movies!
Poor guy worked harder than me getting Kylie to come out!! Not really...not even close!
This was such a satisfying moment in time. Nothing in the world mattered but her.

Happy Birthday to Kylie!!
A year has gone by,
How time has flown,
We can't believe how Kylie's grown!
She's such a joy
And so much fun,
Oh my! Our baby 's turned one!
Kylie turned one as of Wednesday. We celebrated with pizza and cake. It was a blast! She sure likes cake...wonder where she gets that? (maybe her moms strong addiction to 2 am chocolate cakies???) Anywho it has been one amazing year. I feel truley blessed to have such an amazing daughter. Kylie has been the best baby I could have ever imagined and it makes me sad to think that she really isn't a baby anymore but the best is yet to come I'm told. So cheers to that. I can't say I am looking forward to her growing up but I am looking forward to the years to come.
Birthday Blessings
Instead of counting candles,
Or tallying the years,
Contemplate your blessings,
As your birthday nears.
Consider special people
Who love you, and who care,
And others who’ve enriched your life
Just by being there.
Think about the memories
Passing years can never mar,
Experiences great and small
That have made you who you are.
Another year is a happy gift,
So cut your cake,
and say,
"Instead of counting birthdays,
I count blessings every day!"
